When they call me a mad man
With almost a cloth none,
When they call me a poor wretch
Who can not but my body stretch;
When they call me a starved rascal
Yet death is far from a starvation’s call,
When they call me confused
Yet I see them lost in a fuse;
I am neither worried
Nor by their words carried,
For even when life is hard
I know the Lord is my Shepherd.
